PDQ Smart Locks

PDQ Smart Locks are a cloud based access control solution. They are a safe, convenient and simple solution to keyless entry. PDQ Smart Locks lets you unlock your lock using your smart phone or smart watch, or by entering a pin code at the keypad. Simply download the Smart Lock App onto your android or apple device. Register the lock onto the app, and then simply add or remove users (i.e. grant or revoke access rights), schedule lock/unlock events, or retrieve an audit trail of who used the lock at what time.

PDQ Smart Locks are extremely secure, and use AES 128 bit/Cipher Block Chaining encryption for communication between the app and the lock.

If you are looking to install a new smart lock, or want to upgrade your existing mechanical lock to a smart lock, PDQ Smart locks offer quick, easy and affordable installation. No hardwiring is required. You do not require any major IT infrastructure or an IT person to setup the lock. The locks are powered by Bluetooth 5.0 communications and 4-AA batteries and the locks continue to operate even when there is a power outage.

PDQ Smart locks are categorized into Stand-alone Smart Locks (STP), Mobile Based/Bluetooth Access Control locks (STS) and Networked Access Control locks (XLS).

PDQ Smart Locks | PDQ Stand-Alone Smart Touch Pin (STP)

The PDQ STP Locks are wireless mobile enabled stand-alone smart locks which are ideal for local door management. The locks can be operated by smartphone, PIN code, smartwatch, smart remote or a key. A cloud based app installed on your smartphone allows devices to be registered and access rights to be given to users. Alternatively, programming of user codes can be done at the door by an administrator. The STP system is perfect for 1-10 door facility. Each STP device has scheduling capability for up to 100 unique users, and keeps an audit trail of 25 events on the app, with 1 years worth on the cloud.

For remote operation, an additional Ethernet Bridge is required.

The STP devices can be upgraded to networked access control with the addition of a Hybrid Cloud Network Device. It requires a $80 upgrade fees.

PDQ Smart Locks | PDQ Mobile-Based/Bluetooth Access Control (STS)

The PDQ STS locks can be unlocked by a smartphone, or a smartwatch. The STS devices have built in Bluetooth, which connects to the Bluetooth enabled smartphone or smartwatch. Programming the locks is done through the app on the phone. The STS locks can be scaled across multiple facilities and supports 100’s of users and devices. The STS locks keep an audit trail and support push notifications.

For remote operation, an additional Ethernet Bridge is required.

PDQ Smart Locks | PDQ Networked Access Control (XLS)

The PDQ XLS locks can be connected together in a network and remotely managed. With XLS locks, adding new credentials, changing credentials, setting access rules and schedules and viewing audit trails can be done wirelessly in a real time manner. The XLS locks can be scaled to 1000’s of devices and users spanning multiple facilities. The XLS locks can be unlocked by smartphone, pin access code, RFID, smart remote, smart watch or a key. All the data (credentials, rules, schedules etc) is stored on the cloud, and can be managed from one centralized, simple, easy-to-use dashboard, which can be accessed from your smartphone or laptop.

For XLS devices, it is necessary to install a Hybrid Cloud Network Device.
